Tom Clackett

Tom has been working in construction since he was a young boy. Growing up, his father would routinely volunteer to help neighbors fix up their homes and always insisted that Tom and his siblings pitched in. During high school, Tom spent his summer vacations constructing the log home where his parents later retired.

After high school, Tom served in the United States Coast Guard, where he worked as a machinery technician and in the Housing Division. On leaving the Coast Guard, his love of machines--especially Jeeps--led Tom to earn his Associate Degree in Automotive Technology from Massachusetts Bay Community College and to work as a Master Technician at Kelly Jeep/Chrysler of Lynnfield.

Soon, however, Tom realized that his love of Jeeps and cars was more in line with a hobby than a profession. Wanting to return to his construction roots, he took some classes and earned his CSL. In 2002, Tom became a general contractor in East Boston and opened Tom's Home Renovations, Inc.

These days, when he's not working on customer projects, Tom is passing his knowledge and love of both Jeeps and construction on to his own young children.

Tom is always interested in meeting new people and taking on new challenges. He would love the opportunity to work with you on your next renovation project.
